What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed with a very fine, state of the art, hand held tool dipped in the chosen pigment. It is designed to mimic the appearance of very fine hair on the brow area. A natural-looking approach to semi-permanent make-up that lasts between 12-18 months and can be used to fill gaps, enhance over-plucked brows or reconstruct the appearance of your brow entirely.
Before the procedure takes place, a full consultation is done, and a suitable brow shape and colour is chosen. Two further appointments are required. The first one involves designing the shape and taking some before pictures, after which the Microblading will be done. This appointment will be the longest, lasting between 2-3 hours. A second (re-touch) appointment is required between 4-8 weeks later and will only take approximately 1 hour. A re-touch is needed because different skins react differently to pigment, and the retention period may vary.
The treatment leaves you with a defined, realistic and fuller looking brow and there is no real downtime. Numbing cream is used so no real pain but maybe slight discomfort. The healing process and aftercare will be discussed in full on the day of your appointment.
A free, no-obligation consultation can be arranged, and a £50 non-refundable deposit is required when booking your Microblading treatment. See the Treatments page for Microblading prices and Consent Forms.
Any further questions welcome.
